Many Cruise lines are now  welcoming children and some are including infants, But taking an infant on a cruse may not be the best thing you can do.   If you do decided to take children or infant be SURE to check the restrictions, they are are different. . Also when families book more than one cabin. Each cabin may be subject to minimum age requirements for kids staying in a separate cabin. Again make sure the ship you are booking allow it. 

For everyone to enjoy the curse to the fullest I would recommend the child to be at least 6 years of age even if the curse like allow is sooner with one except,  Disney Cruise Line makes it very special for all ages and you will find many children on Disney Cruise Line.

For older tee age children,  for sightseeing all of the curse ships offer a great experience.  But for older teen age fun I would  suggest Carnival Cruise Line  or Celebrity Cruise Line.  NCL is a great experience also for it Alaskan curse and Hawaii.

Guests Under 25 Years of Age

every cruise lines requires that at least one person in each of its cabin meets their minimum age requirement. The information that follows was provided by the cruise lines at the time of this writing, is subject to change.  Don't rely on us it is your duty to make sure you meet the age requirement.  It is impossible for us to keep up with the rules since they are changing all the time. Check with the curse line directly.

The minimum age requirement for any cruise line that we offer curses for is 18. The following cruise lines require that at least one person in each cabin is 18 or older: Cruise West, , Orient Lines,  Seven Seas Cruises,

The following cruise lines require that either one or all of the  passengers in a cabin must be 18 or older, or two,  If anyone someone in the  cabin is younger than 18 years old, then at leaset one person MUST be 21 years old or  older:, Disney Cruise Line, , Princess Cruises, Viking River Cruises.

The following cruise lines have even greater restrictions. At least one person in each cabin is 21 or older: Celebrity, Crystal Cruises,  Norwegian Cruise Line, Royal Caribbean

The following cruise lines all passengers in a cabin must be 2 year or age or older, or 2) If anyone in the cabin is younger than 21 years old, someone in the cabin must be 25 year of age or older: Carnival, Holland America and Windstar

One important exception to these age requirements is made for underage married couples and both are at least 18 years of age. ,. These couples must have proof of their marriage.

Your age on the date of sailing is generally considered your age for the length of the cruise.

Consumption of Alcohol - 

Once you've left port, the minimum age for the consumption of alcohol varies by cruise line.

Its vearies from age 19 to 21. years to consume any type of alcoholic beverage they choose.  There are many bars and places to get a drink on a ship  Also you will get your soda there too.

SOFT DRINKS. 

Many ship offer a soda card for cokes and other soft drinks.   They will save you money if you drink soft drinks on a regular bases.
